Joined as a freshman in 2019 desparately looking to join BAJA or SAE team, somewhat the senior batches' acumen of Team VeerRacerss biased me towards the club (still remember the first rev of Ventus 5). Don't know how but the team recruited me to it's engine and transmission department and oh Man, I was the happiest person of freshman batch 2019. Gradually grew up with the car and diversified into PR, Sponsorship, Procurement and management, gave me wholesome idea on the team and the vehicle. From ideation of manufacturing an electric vehicle during Covid, despite of having any experience or exposure to EVs back when the team was focused on CV, had helped me learn a lot about the current scenario of EVs and their complexities. Struggling to start the old KTM 373 post Covid helped me connect with both the last Ventuses and the strongest, aged and helpful alumni team. Looking back, leading the Powertrain subsystem was one of the most intense and rewarding chapters of my life. It wasn’t just about engines, batteries, motors, torque curves, or thermal efficiency—it was about problem-solving, collaboration, and pushing boundaries when the solution wasn’t obvious. Working with the team taught me to approach engineering challenges with both creativity and discipline. From countless iterations to late-night design reviews, every moment was a step toward becoming a better engineer and a stronger teammate. To the current team: your work matters. The lessons you’re learning—balancing performance and reliability, working across systems, thinking critically under real-world constraints—are the same ones you'll carry into industry and beyond. Keep questioning. Keep improving. And never forget that every bolt you tighten and every decision you make contributes to a much bigger journey. Becoming captain of Veerracers Electric was something that changed my life. With no recent builds, limited funds, and little guidance, we started from scratch in 2022. A year later, we built Zeus 1.0 — the most decorated car in our club’s history. Through sleepless nights, greasy hands, and countless challenges, we became more than a team — we became family. I was honored to be our first driver to win at an international track.

Still remember the day of admission when nestled between the echoes of vivid campus life stood firm and beaming with pride, “Ventus 5” under the banner of the team that would not only shape my life completely but also make me remember each moment with the sweetness of the petichors post an early rain! Was always a racehead but not only did the team made me push my abilities but also gave a family, that I carry forward forever ! A family to look upto and reminisce all those memories that made our “Burla Story” embedded deep within this lifetime !

Looking back, being a part of the Formula Student team was more than just a college club — it was the cornerstone of my personal and professional growth.
